One of last week's pieces suggested that Law School has become a bad investment, but one also reads that undergraduate education in general, and the Humanities in particular, is now pointless. The same question can be asked about (to take a random example) a social science like Economics, however, and the fourth piece suggests the reason women avoid the Sciences is that they're smart enough to realize that, as a career goal, it sucks.
